How ZLINE Cares Strengthened
Local Communities in 2025

Since ZLINE Kitchen and Bath was founded in 2007, our teams have made significant financial contributions, sponsored charitable events, and volunteered countless hours for nonprofits across our Ohio, Tennessee, and Nevada communities.

In 2025, we expanded these efforts by launching ZLINE Cares—a company-wide initiative created to more visibly and consistently reflect what we stand for: creating better communities, one kindness at a time.

ZLINE Cares empowers employees to volunteer during work hours to support local causes. From food banks and domestic violence resource centers to wildlife sanctuaries and environmental restoration projects, the initiative creates meaningful opportunities for teams across all locations to work together and make a difference in the communities we serve.

A Year of Wide-Ranging Impact

In Tennessee, members of ZLINE’s Customer Experience, Returns, Warranty, and Learning & Development spent a September afternoon assisting WRAP, a nonprofit in Jackson dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault across West Tennessee. Volunteers sorted and stocked clothing and hygiene items, organized a women’s clothing drive, and donated infant clothing, diapers, and personal care essentials to support women and children.
Also in September, People Operations staff volunteered with Second Harvest Food Bank, a hunger-relief organization that distributes millions of pounds of food annually to food pantries and soup kitchens across West Tennessee. Volunteers helped pack enough food to feed 844 families of four, providing critical support to households facing food insecurity.

In Nevada, the Planning & Purchasing and Product Development teams partnered in September with the Tahoe Rim Trail Association, a nonprofit dedicated to restoring and maintaining trails throughout the Sierra Nevada. Volunteers constructed new boardwalk sections through Tahoe Meadows—areas that had not been rebuilt in more than 20 years—laid erosion-control burlap along Mount Rose Highway, and spread native seed to stabilize soil and promote plant growth.

That same month, Customer Experience and Warranty teams worked with the Giggles & Grace Foundation, a Reno nonprofit supporting families affected by NF1 and other rare conditions. Staff assembled 50 care packages for parents of NICU babies, including 25 men’s travel kits and 25 women’s travel kits filled with essential hygiene items. Teams also donated baby-care supplies such as bottles, pacifiers, diaper cream, lotion, and wash, along with multiple cases of diapers and wipes.

“Especially for people with sick children, they’ve got so much else going on, a lot of times they can’t really focus on their own basic needs,” notes Customer Experience Specialist Jon Ballard. “My granddaughter has cancer, so I know what that’s like, going through that with her parents … They’ve got so much going on, sometimes they just forget the basics of life, so things like this really help out.

Aiding Animals and Helping Families in Need

Members of the Quality and Learning & Development teams volunteered in August at Animal Ark, a 38-acre nonprofit wildlife sanctuary north of Reno that provides lifelong care to rescued, non-releasable animals such as cheetahs, wolves, bears, and tigers. Volunteers sanded and re-stained the sanctuary’s Visitor Center, helping maintain a welcoming space for the public.

In October, the Dealer and Builder teams returned to Animal Ark to take on a special construction project: building a new enclosure for Jonni, a 34-year-old African spurred tortoise whose previous habitat had stood for more than three decades.

“Since 1994, Animal Ark has been a haven for injured and non-releasable wildlife,” shares Dealer Sales Account Manager Ashley Stanfield. “Our team is proud to support a sanctuary that continues to make a lasting impact on wildlife and the people who care for them.”

ZLINE’s Marketing team spent a September afternoon volunteering at the Nevada Humane Society, an open-admission, no-kill animal shelter. The team organized the shelter’s pantry by sorting food, toys, leashes, treats, and linens, ensuring resources were ready for animals in need before spending time with dogs, cats, and other animals awaiting adoption.

“The Nevada Humane Society is an incredible place for shelter animals in our community,” shares Lead Marketing Manager Nicholas Kerr. “We helped organize their pantry so animals in need have food, toys, and supplies, and are well cared for.”

Food Insecurity and Essential Services

In November, the Accounting team partnered with Eddy House, the only 24/7 shelter and resource center in Northern Nevada dedicated to homeless and at-risk youth ages 18–24. Volunteers assembled 195 hygiene kits, each containing items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, and shampoo, to help young adults meet basic needs while working toward stability.

Multiple teams volunteered in October and November with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, a nonprofit that has fought hunger for more than 40 years across Northern Nevada and the eastern Sierra. Volunteers helped sort and pack food boxes that supported nearly 1,200 families during one event alone, with additional teams contributing thousands of meals through subsequent shifts.
“Food Bank volunteers help feed over 150,000 neighbors every month—that’s over a quarter of Northern Nevada residents,” notes Communications Manager Kevin MacMillan. “Even helping for a few hours can make a meaningful difference. With ZLINE Cares, enough small efforts can create real impact.”

Additional ZLINE Cares efforts included Tennessee Facilities staff installing a full kitchen suite at Milan Fire Department Station  No. 2, supporting first responders who serve their local community. In December, ZLINE’s Reno-based Channels team delivered food, winter clothing, and 50 hygiene packets to the  Domestic Violence Resource Center of Northern Nevada, which provides emergency shelter, advocacy, and resources to approximately 4,000 individuals each year.

Support Beyond ZLINE Cares

ZLINE Cares builds on a long-standing tradition of supporting nonprofit organizations through donations, sponsorships, and in-kind contributions. These partnerships reflect our broader commitment to strengthening communities and supporting organizations that create lasting impact.
Each organization plays a vital role in addressing unmet needs, supporting at-risk youth and families, providing education and restoration services, and helping individuals build stronger futures—values that align closely with ZLINE’s own.

These efforts were capped by one of ZLINE’s most impactful holiday seasons to date, as our outreach continued to grow across Nevada, Tennessee, and Ohio. Highlights from ZLINE’s 2025 holiday outreach included participating in the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows Holiday Help program; donating to Ohio nonprofits Canine Collective; taking part in the Salvation Army Angel Tree program in Nevada and Tennessee; and providing 36,000 square feet of Reno warehouse space and hands-on support to Toys for Tots in Northern Nevada.

With ZLINE, luxury isn’t meant to be left desired—it’s meant to be attainable.
