ZLINE Donates $11,000 During 2024 Holiday Giving Campaign

At ZLINE Kitchen and Bath, community outreach has consistently been a hallmark of our family-focused mission, and this holiday season was no different thanks to several volunteer efforts leading to monetary donations and contributions to local schools and nonprofits.

Each winter, employees in Ohio, Tennessee, and Nevada partner with local families in need to make the holidays memorable. This year, ZLINE’s Tennessee teams donated to children in the Hollow Rock-Bruceton Special School District through the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, which helps provide gifts for hundreds of thousands of children around the country each year, including the K-12 district in Bruceton that has an enrollment of more than 600 students across four schools.

In Nevada, ZLINE partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows in Reno to purchase, wrap, and deliver hundreds of gifts for local families on a minimal income, as well as those experiencing homelessness/housing insecurity, to ensure families with children ages 5-18 get everything they need for the holidays.
In addition to adopt-a-family gift contributions, ZLINE employees in Ohio volunteered time and resources to raise money for two important nonprofits this year:
  • Canine Collective Ohio Dog Rescue: The mission of this Plain City, Ohio-based nonprofit — located near ZLINE’s Ohio headquarters in Marysville — is to provide rescued dogs another chance to find their forever homes. They rescue from high-kill shelters, hoarding situations, and from families in crisis.
  • Care Train of Union County: Based in Marysville, this organization assists eligible families with children, disabled adults, and seniors in Union County by providing food vouchers during the holidays. Additionally, through the kindness of others, volunteers provide toys to the children of families they serve.

Through these collective efforts across three states, ZLINE’s monetary donations this holiday season totaled $11,000.

Additionally, staff supported the Eddy House by setting up donation bins at ZLINE’s Reno offices, encouraging team members to contribute items ranging from gift cards and feminine hygiene products to new or gently used clothing and more. Eddy House is a daytime drop-in center and overnight shelter for homeless, runaway, foster, and other at-risk youth; the nonprofit works with youth to develop life and job skills necessary for sustainable independence with the goal of ending youth homelessness in Northern Nevada.

“We take great pride in giving back every holiday season,” says Michael Milstein, Vice President of Sales and Business Development for ZLINE. “Philanthropy is paramount to our mission at ZLINE to deliver an attainable luxury experience, which is why we ensure our team members are empowered to volunteer to support the many nonprofits and organizations that work tirelessly to improve the lives of everyone living in our communities.”
To that end, ZLINE’s annual holiday donations represent only a portion of our commitment to acts of generosity, which ultimately aids efforts to bolster the local workforce. From supporting nonprofits with free kitchen appliance installation to maintaining annual sponsorships to organizations focused on child cancer research, mental health awareness, veteran support, and workforce development, we truly love to give back.
With ZLINE, luxury is not meant to be desired — it’s meant to be attainable.
