ZLINE Introduces Mark Estee Signature Chef Knife

That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce the Mark Estee Signature Chef Knife, created in collaboration with Nevada-based executive chef and longtime ZLINE ambassador Mark Estee.
For nearly three decades, Chef Estee has built a bold and inspiring career as a nationally recognized restaurateur who works tirelessly to empower chefs, producers, entrepreneurs, and communities in Northern Nevada and beyond by connecting people back to their food.
Estee has been an ardent supporter of ZLINE’s award-winning appliances and products since 2021, and his reputation for excellence and innovation made him the perfect partner to co-design a knife worthy of both professionals and home chefs.
“This knife really spoke to me,” says Estee. “When (ZLINE Founder) Andy Zuro asked me to collaborate, I was super fired up. The feel and quality of the Damascus blade, the way it holds that edge, the way it cuts—and to top it off, the way it looks—really sets this knife apart.”
Indeed, the Mark Estee Signature Knife takes the professional kitchen experience to the next level. Forged in 45-layer Japanese Damascus steel and featuring an ergonomic handle, razor-sharp 9-13° double-bevel edge, and a 60+ Rockwell Hardness rating, this knife delivers long-lasting precision.
The knife’s full tang blade is strengthened with nickel and liquid nitrogen for hand-crafted reliability, and its triple-riveted G10 handle, made from woven epoxy and reinforced fiberglass, is designed to withstand continuous high-impact action.
“Working with Andy and ZLINE on this knife has been amazing,” Estee adds. “From the start, every detail was thoughtfully considered—from the blade to the handle to all the ZLINE touches we’re known for.”
ZLINE and Estee partnered to debut the knife at the 2025 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in February in Las Vegas, with Estee leading a series of well-attended live cooking events at ZLINE’s 2,000-square-foot booth.
