ZLINE Volunteers Unite to Beautify Washoe Lake State Park
From painting weather-worn curbs to collecting trash along the trails, and even installing a brand-new sand volleyball court, this all-hands-on-deck effort was a true reflection of community spirit. Volunteers of all ages brought enthusiasm, energy, and plenty of elbow grease to help revitalize this well-loved park for summer visitors.
For ZLINE, the day represented more than just service; it was a chance to connect with partners who share our passion for sustainability, education, and local engagement.
“This event was incredibly rewarding to coordinate,” said Danee Hussey, Office Manager at ZLINE. “It’s not every day you get to unite people from different organizations for something that makes an immediate, visible impact. Seeing students and professionals working side by side reminded me how powerful a community can be.”
