ZLINE Donates Appliances to TMCC's Culinary Training Kitchen

At ZLINE Kitchen and Bath, attainable luxury has always meant more than beautiful appliances—it means believing that great cooking begins with the right tools, whoever you are and wherever you're starting from.

ZLINE has donated a suite of appliances to the instructor's kitchen at Truckee Meadows Community College's newly equipped culinary training facility—the centerpiece of an expanded campus space purpose-built for hands-on culinary education. The Reno-based college celebrated the kitchen's celebrated its official ribbon cutting on April 29, 2026, and will welcome its first culinary course this summer.
The kitchen will serve as the primary instructional hub for TMCC's EPIC program—Educational Programs Inspiring the Community—one of Northern Nevada's largest and longest-running community education initiatives. EPIC offers hundreds of noncredit courses each year spanning personal enrichment, career development, and professional skills training, making quality education accessible to adults at every stage of life.

Nevada Lt. Gov. Stavros Anthony and representatives from Nevada Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto's and Congressman Mark Amodei's offices were among those at the April 29 ceremony, joined by TMCC President Jeffrey Alexander, Reno + Sparks Chamber of Commerce members, and EPIC instructors and staff.

For an institution built on the idea that education should be accessible, a fully equipped, professional-grade teaching kitchen is a meaningful investment. The ZLINE appliances donated for the instructor's station, including a 36-inch induction range30-inch double wall oven, and 36-inch counter-depth refrigerator, are designed to perform reliably in a demanding teaching environment, giving instructors the tools they need to demonstrate technique clearly and confidently in front of a class.

About the Partnership

Headquartered in Reno, ZLINE has deep roots in the Northern Nevada community. Supporting TMCC's EPIC program is a natural extension of what we already believe: that the kitchen is one of the most powerful places to learn—not just cooking, but patience, creativity, and care.

Community education programs like EPIC matter because they meet people where they are. Whether someone is returning to the workforce, exploring a new passion, or building skills they've always wanted, EPIC offers a way in. Having a fully equipped, professional kitchen as part of that offering raises the bar for what's possible. We're grateful to the team at TMCC for including ZLINE in this chapter of the program's growth, and we look forward to seeing what gets made and who gets inspired in this new space.
