ZLINE Recognized by EDAWN, Nevada Political Leaders for Economic Impact

ZLINE Kitchen and Bath was honored by Gov. Joe Lombardo and the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) for playing a key role in boosting economic efforts across greater Reno-Sparks during the organization’s second annual Celebration of Business & Industry in Northern Nevada on December 4 in Reno.

This year, EDAWN recognized 26 new or expanding primary companies that collectively brought more than 600 jobs and $327 million in capital expenditures to the region. Fourteen additional established primary companies—including ZLINE—were also honored for their continued growth, investment, and ongoing impact on the regional economy.

“These businesses tell a powerful story about where Northern Nevada is today,” notes Taylor Adams, EDAWN President and CEO. “When you put together the companies that have been committed to this region for years with those who are just joining the story, you see a region that’s not only growing, but thriving. Their investments reflect real confidence in this community and real momentum behind everything that is happening here.”

In addition to being honored with a 2025 Business Retention and Expansion award, ZLINE was recognized by Gov. Lombardo, in addition to receiving certificates of United States Congressional recognition from Nevada Sens. Jacky Rosen and Catherine Cortez Masto.

“As Governor of the great state of Nevada, I am pleased to recognize ZLINE Kitchen and Bath for its exceptional contributions to the growth, innovation, and prosperity of Northern Nevada’s business community,” Lombardo wrote in his December 4 proclamation. “I appreciate your investment in our economy and wish you continued success in your future business endeavors.”

This is the second consecutive year EDAWN has recognized ZLINE as a key employer contributing to economic growth, strengthening regional competitiveness, and supporting local job creation.

This distinction is the latest in a series of accolades from EDAWN in recent years, including recognition in 2020 through its annual “New and Expanded Companies” program for ZLINE's continued investment in the Northern Nevada economy and its successful navigation of the challenges presented by the COVID pandemic. Three years later, ZLINE was one of 56 companies honored at EDAWN’s 2023 Existing Industry Awards event.
Since relocating to Reno in 2016, ZLINE has become one of Northern Nevada’s fastest-growing companies, an evolution driven by thoughtful design, product innovation, and a commitment to supporting the people who live and work in greater Reno-Sparks.

ZLINE’s rapid expansion in recent years includes adding roughly 100 new jobs since 2020 and making significant warehouse and office investments across the region. Most recently, the company expanded into an additional 84,000 square feet of distribution space at 400 E. Parr Blvd. With this move, ZLINE now manages 660,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space nationwide, more than a quarter of which is anchored in Reno. ZLINE also maintains strong warehousing and customer service operations in Tennessee and Ohio.

“We’re incredibly appreciative of EDAWN for recognizing our growth, which is driven by talented individuals who care deeply about what we’re building,” shares Mason Watkins, Senior Director of Marketing for ZLINE. “Northern Nevada has played a major role in ZLINE’s momentum, and we take great pride in contributing to a community that has welcomed and supported us from day one.”
To qualify for EDAWN’s Celebration of Business & Industry honors, companies must demonstrate growth and strategic investment through new facilities, expanded operations, increased hiring, and contributions to the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

“These efforts support job creation, attract outside investment, and reinforce Northern Nevada’s position as a competitive location for business expansion and opportunity,” according to EDAWN.

Beyond economic impact, ZLINE remains committed to workforce development by recruiting local talent through the University of Nevada, Reno, Truckee Meadows Community College, and regional job fairs.

The company is also deeply engaged in community support. As just one example, in 2025, ZLINE launched ZLINE Cares, a year-round volunteer program enabling employees to support local causes across Nevada, Tennessee, and Ohio, where teams have participated in food bank events, blood drives, humane society projects, and care-package initiatives.

These efforts continue to strengthen employee retention and company culture, as reflected this summer with ZLINE earning Great Place To Work Certification™ for the fourth consecutive year.

With ZLINE, luxury isn’t meant to be left desired—it’s meant to be attainable.
